Our Client operates in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Singapore. It has its branches spread to more than 5 countries, providing employment to 250 people. Their core business is to represent their client in countries that they do not operate in, and market/sell their products for them. They have achieved a wide client base in a very short time, and are looking for new talent.
Overview:
- HR Operations, Payroll Management, Talent Acquisition, Manpower Plans & HR Budgets, Driving Performance Management Process and Training & Development.
Responsibilities:
HR Operations
- Employee Engagement
- Manage Employee Relations: provide guidance and assist line managers in handling employee disciplinary issues based on HR policies & procedures
- Maintain employee profiles: staff registration, job offer, labor contract, contract liquidation, salary, probation, promotion, termination, etc.
- Manage HR information system and handle employee inquiries
- Assure through audits, reports are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead the recruitment and selection process
- Handle the whole Life-cycle of staffing, such as on-boarding/off-boarding, new employee orientation, exit process/interview
Manpower Plans & HR Budgets;
- Work closely with Country Managers to finalize the HR Manpower Plans and HR Budgets
Driving Performance Management Process:
- Spearhead end to end Performance Management Process in collaboration with Country Manager and Line Managers
Training & Development:
- Drive and deploy training and development programs and processes to reduce competency gaps
- Lead local learning initiatives such as online learning and various learning tools based on business needs
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in Human Resources including as HR generalist and/or managerial role;
- Familiar with HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, HR management system, Performance Management, Talent Management);
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written) in English;
- Ability to work independently and effectively with cross functional teams, build relationships/ credibility across the organization and quickly assume responsibility in a new organization;
- Good understanding of local labor market, labor law/regulations and practices;
- Critical thinking and strong influencing skill;
- Collaborative, trustworthy, well-organized self-starter;
- Good personal and business ethics;
- Good MS Office skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred
