Global Supply Planning Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution and own the product supply planning processes for finished goods for the markets under the responsibility area in adherence to standard drumbeats, the defined planning cycle, in order to ensure supply continuity and manage & optimize inventory levels at market and total network levels. 
• Responsible to implement & cascade the global allocation as per the IBP plans. 
• Accountable to review and escalate alerts monitoring & regular DDS meetings to identify attention points related to FG supply and define the action plans & support required by other departments to tackle them timely. 
• Perform inventory & NPI management for finished goods in a sustainable way ensuring that financials (cost & cash) and service level targets are met.
• Validate and approve Supply Planners' shipment plan to ensure the 12 months shipment plan meets market demand, in line with the targeted inventory policies. 
• Accountable for master data hygiene, availability reports and drive for master data completeness and correctness. 
• Validate proposals from Supply Planners on exceptions management in both STP and MTP while orchestrating planners' activities in accordance to defined drumbeats. 
• Approve scenarios from Supply Planners to explore different options to resolve shortages or excess of inventory.
• Accountable that system alerts & reports on inventory projections are as agreed inventory policies to avoid stock out or excess inventory situations. 
• Ensure that planner take action to minimize FG leftover and provide the inputs for S&OP reviews.
• Review and control inventory projections for the defined horizon for full portfolio in accordance with defined drumbeat. 
• Ensure actions are taken or escalated to relevant departments in order to resolve the deviations to stay within defined target ranges.
• Management and development of Planning as a Service with Business Service Provider (BSP)
• Manage the development (onboarding, training, handover, knowledge) and organization (hiring, pipelining, succession) of BSP Supply Planning teams, and CPI/KPI performance review, to support global Synch Hub Vision.
• Lead E&O mitigation and provisionning processes for market specific liabilities with relevant departments to ensure timely mitigation initiatives are aligned and implemented to minimize cost. 
• Own and approve relevant input for provisionning and approval for destructions, as well as input and insights into corporate newsletter.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Economics or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of supply chain background
• Fluent English
