Responsibilities:
- Product development – PDCA
- Understand customer requirements and transfer the customer requirement to product feature.
- Working together with mechanical engineer on concept design and validation test.
- Design electronic module and complete the testing of new product.
- According to analysis of new product’s characteristics, solve the problem while occurred during testing product and ensure new product’s research go on smoothly.
- Equipment and documentation – Maintain and renew related engineering equipment. Compile and release the design/technical documentation.
- Global Communication – Communication with cross functional teams including global engineering team (US, Europe), product manager, manufacturing team, automation manufacturing team and testing.
- Communication and Reporting – Provide regular updates to team and management on program status, gaps, and where needed, provide potential solutions. Effective communication to internal and customer engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Educational Degree: Bachelor or Master degree on EE or similar in process
- Professional Experience (years in what processes and function): At least 3 years design experience.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Good English skills, speaking and writing.
- Thorough knowledge of general engineering tools (LEAN or 6-sigma) such as DoE, FMEA, QFD, etc.
- Analytical, structured, solution-oriented, and very precise way of working.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills (in English) to effectively communicate to the global team.
- Electronic Functional and component Knowledge.
- Electro-circuit design and failure analysis knowledge.
- PCB layout and assembly process.
Additional Requirements (optional):
- VB, C/C++ language knowledge on calibration tooling is preferred.
- EMC design and test experience is preferred.
- Sensor design experience is preferred.
- Explosion protection experience is preferred.
