Job description

Overview:


  • The Director of People Services & Country Advice oversees HR operations across Denmark, the UK, Poland, and Finland, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency.
  • This role is pivotal in driving a unified service approach within the groupwide People Services function. 
  • The Country Advice component involves providing guidance on local legal HR issues, specific compensation and reward matters, and codetermination topics as applicable in each country.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver a valuable HR service across the countries in scope, aligning with transformational plans and achieving both short- and long-term business objectives.
  • Strengthen common processes, implement best practices, and optimize task allocation and synergies within the broader People Services organization.
  • For the next year, assume dual leadership by managing the UK team directly, a group of 5 FTEs delivering People Services and Country Advice to UK business areas and staff functions.
  • A central service center is expanding its global process scope, while in-house teams in each country collaborate with local payroll providers. 
  • Processes are designed to be as global as possible and as local as necessary, with a hybrid delivery model combining local in-house service centers and specialized vendors. 
  • All operations function within a unified system landscape.


Requirements:


Your Profile


  • The ideal candidate holds a relevant university degree or equivalent and brings extensive leadership experience within People & Culture. 
  • With at least 5 years as an HR Manager in an international organization in the UK, the candidate has overseen HR operations in multiple countries.

  • Proven ability to lead international teams and ensure smooth, high-quality HR service delivery.
  • Expertise as a change leader with a track record of implementing continuous development.
  • Integrity, agility, and a passion for creating true business value.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders at various levels.
