Reponsibilities:
- Manage correct inventory holding at factory mother warehouses and manage end to end VAS activities of kitting, bundling and other product customization with delivery on time and within budget.
- Manage primary stock movements from plan t to C&FA’s to meet the demand basis sales estimates.
- Ensure the multiple warehouse locations are serviced adequately to meet the demand including for exports markets.
- Integrate and upgrade work systems in contemporary technological landscape.
- Manage the Quality Audits at the WH to meet Standards.
- Making sure that the CFA/3PL adhere to the EHS requirements.
- Manage the 3PL contracts at all Plants/Warehouses for the Logistics Operations.
- Managing complexities of LIFO and FIFO arising due to promotions, new product launches.
- Monitor finished goods inventories to meet the overall CWC objectives.
- Manage the distribution function and provide support for annual budgeting exercise for distribution
- Negotiate and finalize contract for freight rates for primary and secondary distribution and with C&FA for fixed payment.
- Ensure that we are meeting the ZBB targets.
- Identifying cost reduction opportunities by developing new transporters, altern ate & cost effective modes of transport, optimizing warehouse space.
- Manage the CFAs to ensure compliance to company policies and guidelines an d reports exceptions (if any).
- Monitor slow and non-moving stocks at CFA locations, update the sales team regularly, and plan to salvage the ageing stocks to avoid potential write-o ffs due to expiry of products and short dated stocks.
- Monitor actual distribution cost and FG inventories. Analyze variances and report exceptions.
- Manage planning and distribution network optimization and long -term capacity planning for production as well as warehousing and distribution.
- Manage regulatory requirements.
- Support the business on new product launches.
- Conduct the evaluation process for transporters and C&FAs and provide the feedback for continuous improvements.
- Manage and develop the people in the logistics team and the CFA teams by identifying gaps and by ensuring their participation in training and development programs to overcome these gaps.
- Together with the Operations Manager to Support the Innovation Process to deliver SC solutions for NPD at all co-packers and the manufacturers where contract obligations are set.

Requirements:
Preferred Education, Skill & Experience:
- Engineering with postgraduate qualification in Operations Management.
- Min 10 years’ experience in supply planning, customers service, warehousing and logistics area.
- Good Negotiation skills, analytical skills and flair for numbers are requisites. Interpersonal skills to work across functions.
- A mind creative enough to identify and recommend corrective actions is a desirable.
- People Management experience.
Sufficient / in depth, knowledge of:
- Computer literacy including good command on Microsoft Office Suite.
- SAP.
- Six sigma or LEAN manufacturing.
