Role:

• We need Corporate Advisor, Corporate Lending Specialist
• This role in the Corporate Finance team involves providing technical analysis for financing requests from new and existing corporate clients in the context of event and relationship transactions. 
• This role will be responsible for making credit recommendations and seeking approvals for lending transactions. 

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the origination of a pipeline of corporate finance transactions and screen lending opportunities through marketing, analytics, and deal screening.
• Undertake and manage the necessary financial modelling, due diligence, risk analysis and mitigation in the structuring of loans, and/or equity investments.
• Assign Internal Credit Ratings; establish and manage credit risk limits in accordance with the risk appetite established by the Board; monitor and report on credit risk exposures on a regular basis.
• Support or lead the internal approvals process including interface with credit, legal and other teams as well as management and the Board.
• With the support of internal and external counsel, ensure for all deals that appropriate legal documentation is successfully concluded in line with approvals and that financial close (i.e., first disbursement) is achieved in a timely fashion.
• Undertake the implementation and assessment, ensuring compliance with required guidelines, policies and procedures as well as agreed covenants and reporting requirements up to financing effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of financial markets, lending products, and corporate finance principles is essential.
• This includes knowledge of loan structuring, credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data, assess creditworthiness of corporate clients, and make informed lending decisions.
• Capacity to identify issues, propose solutions, and make informed decisions to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities in corporate lending transactions.
