Continuous Improvement Lead / Manager

Responsibilities:

• Managing the plant's annual plan, identifying key improvement priorities to enhance site performance from the stakeholders' perspective, and implementing the POA (Performance
• Optimization and Alignment) system to achieve the desired star level.
• This role will involve conducting training and workshops to ensure the team is equipped to initiate improvement activities, including lean value stream mapping projects.
• While this is a plant-based role, most of the initiatives will be derived from global company OA standards, and the individual in this position will serve as the main point of contact in the Philippines to ensure the successful implementation of these global initiatives in alignment with company’s standards.
• Develop a roadmap for continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Lead the design and execution of strategies for process optimization.
• Promoting company OA and continuous improvement in manufacturing, specifically in production, logistics, and industrial engineering.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in lean manufacturing, particularly in its application within a manufacturing environment like connectivity. 
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives, such as stream transformation or value Stream mapping(VSM), would be highly advantageous.
• Training in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar fields would also be beneficial.
• A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification would be an added advantage, as it would enhance the candidate's ability to drive process improvements effectively across the organization.
• Candidate should also be capable of coaching and mentoring not only their direct reports but also other team members. They will be expected to facilitate training sessions related to
• continuous improvement or company OA practices within company.
• Experience in managing production, logistics, and industrial engineering within a manufacturing site is essential, though experience in supply chain improvement is also valuable.
