Cloud Data Architect

Our client is a Fortune 500 solutions integrator that helps organizations accelerate their digital journey, modernize their business, and maximize the value of technology. Their technical expertise spans cloud and edge-based transformation solutions, with global scale and optimization built on over 33 years of deep partnerships with the world’s leading and emerging technology providers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the organization's enterprise data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business requirements, data governance policies, and industry best practices.
• Architect and implement cloud-based data solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics Dedicated SQL Pool.
• Design and oversee the implementation of data integration processes, including ETL/ELT pipelines, to move data from various sources into the Azure data platform.
• Architect and implement big data analytics solutions using Azure Databricks, leveraging its Apache Spark-based analytics engine for data processing, machine learning, and advanced analytics workloads.

Requirements:

• Experience in cloud platform expertise (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of managing security infrastructure and applications.
• Direct, hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of vulnerability management tools.
• Understanding of standard industry compliance benchmarks (NIST, HIPPA, CIS, PCI DSS, GDPR).
