Their core business is to represent their client in countries that they do not operate in, and market/sell their products for them. Overview:
- The ideal candidate will lead the medical devices business, which is projected to contribute 70-75% of the company’s revenue in the next five years.
- This senior position demands a dynamic leader with a robust background in the sales and marketing of medical devices, as well as significant experience in P&L management.
- The candidate will be pivotal in driving growth, stabilizing current operations, and managing a multi-faceted team in the near future.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with the CEO to set and drive the organizational vision and operational strategy.
- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning.
- Oversee the company’s overall operations, including finance, IT, legal, and HR, ensuring a highly inclusive culture.
Operational Management:
- Oversee operations, HR, and accounting.
- Partner with the CEO in sales management to ensure sufficient investment capital for growth targets.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
Financial Oversight:
- Oversee financial data and recommend solutions to improve profitability.
- Maintain and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) sheet for the business unit.
- Closely monitor budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
Market and Business Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies.
- Enhance brand positioning, engage key opinion leaders, and promote products effectively.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential challenges in the competitive environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: 10-15 years in the medical devices industry.
- Demonstrated success in sales and marketing of medical devices.
- Strong background in P&L management.
- Ability to stabilize current business operations and deliver on set objectives.
