ASC - Technical Writer

Our Client operates in the Oil and Energy industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Saudi Arabia. It has its branches spread to more than 50 countries, providing employment to more than 68,500 people all over the world. They fall under the Fortune 500 Companies. They are one of the world’s largest oil producers. They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with ABS management and other stakeholders to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and project requirements.
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
• Edit training materials written by instructional designers and/or subject-matter experts (SMEs).
• Manage multiple, concurrent projects.
• Ensure that corporate communication guidelines and departmental (FTDD) verbal and visual styles are followed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in technical writing or related field required.
• 10+ years of hands-on technical writing experience.
• Excellent writing and technical writing skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Comprehend and explain complex technical concepts.
• Experience editing instructional materials.
• Detail-oriented.
• Expert in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Team player / Flexible / Open-minded.
• Experience within Financial institutions and if possible the Oil & Gas industry.
