Accounts Payable Manager

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for invoice processing activities for North America & Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions executed by team of Accounts Payable professionals. 
• Provide day-to-day administrative and technical supervision to team members, including work assignments and resource management.
• Coach and develop team members through feedback, performance reviews, and training coordination.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment that promotes efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements and KPIs for Accounts Payable processing.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Contribute to policy development and divisional goals.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend methods to enhance productivity.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including GAAP and SOX.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and initiatives.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting.
• 10 - 15 years of Accounts Payable experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with multi-national companies required and Global Business Services preferred.
• Proficiency in transition and stabilization of business processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.
• Ability to build trust-based relationships and present diverse perspectives.
• Strong prioritization and deadline management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in key systems/tools such as SAP or ERP systems, Accounts Payable Workflows, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience working in a dynamic, global environment and willingness to adapt their schedule to accommodate meetings and collaboration across different time zones are essential qualities for this role.
• The candidate should possess excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders in order to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
