Accounting Professional

That's why they are driving the transition to a sustainable energy system through initiatives in renewable production and climate smart energy solutions for their customers. They employ approximately 20,000 people and have operations mainly in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and the UK.

Responsibilities:

Your daily tasks include:

• Managing financial administration according to legal and group requirements.
• Preparing accurate entries for IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
• Developing accounting memos and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closings, conducting audits, and timely reporting.
• Calculating provisions and accruals.
• Overseeing calculation processes.
• Preparing annual accounts.
• Providing data for internal and external audits.
• Ensuring high quality and timely service according to current processes and guidelines.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Actively contributing to various cross-departmental projects.

Requirements:

• We are looking for a driven and proactive Accounting Professional who thrives in an international environment and has a passion for sustainability. 
• You are open to change and work solution-oriented. 
• You excel both independently and as part of a team and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• A completed and relevant higher professional education (HBO).
• At least three years of experience in accounting and statutory reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
• Familiarity with financial systems and processes (experience with SAP/S4HANA and Cognos is a plus).
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
