Product Compliance Engineer

Job Summary:

• Product Compliance Engineer will be required to achieve product and engineering compliance by developing and executing compliance programs and completing documentation. 
• Prevents compliance issues by collaborating with engineering planning and design teams, reviewing design data, and developing compliance policies.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out product approvals for international markets such as TEC, UL, CSA, CE
• Preparation of approval documents and descriptions for notified bodies
• Creating and supporting testing and approval plans to ensure fast certification process
• Close cooperation with approval bodies and intensification of this cooperation on an international basis
• Technical assessment of testing and approval requirements
• Prepare test setups and take care of testing in external labs
• Communication with cross functional global teams

Requirements:

• You have a degree in engineering or a comparable qualification 
• You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of product certification
• You have experience in the configuration of networking components e.g. Router, Switch, Firewalls
• Knowledge of the safety and EMC standards is an advantage
• You work in a structured, flexible manner and act independently
• You have a good command of written and spoken in English
