Murex - Senior Datamart Developer – VP1

Responsibilities:

• The person to perform day-to-day activities that are part of L3, QR or project in the datamart Murex module. 
• Also working closely with various leads & internal technology teams as well as the vendor. 
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis of production incidents and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Develop automated reconciliation and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Implement data quality controls, exception handling, and audit mechanisms within reporting solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications, solution design documents, deployment guides, and operational documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or similar domain
• Related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous although not mandatory
• Strong Murex skills (Datamart)
• The ideal candidate should be a Senior analyst with datamart skills and experience in trading/Risk system support/development
• Good business domain knowledge in Global Markets and Group Risk
• 6-9 years track record in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multi-national/regional company with annual budgetary responsibility
• Experience in communicating with functional and technical stakeholders
• Experience in banking industry preferred
• Experience in service-oriented technologies
• Good understanding and experience in software development cycle
• Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders
• Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills
• Sound understanding of datamart module: datamart design, Optimization, Downstream and interface reporting work experience, regulatory reporting experience. 
• Should have worked on migration projects and enhancements. 
• Good understanding of liquation, simulation based and accounting based reports.
