Head of Environmental Sustainability

Our client is an international European MNC that has a strong global presence and a market leader in engineering innovation and digitalization. 

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate business lines to grow sales and business development by translating Company environmental and sustainability achievement to valuable commercial proposition, solutions 
• backed with data to our customers.
• Facilitate the support of our daily work: we've got solid commercial argumentation /data / solutions to our customers.
• Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at global level to develop and.
• implement a business development strategy to ensure company strategic position as a leader in sustainability.
• Design, develop and implement policies, guidelines, processes and solutions and ensure all business lines employees are made aware and play their part in our environmental and sustainability commitments
• Clear rules and criteria, transparency - ensure we walk the talk.
• Facilitate sustainability training by working with Learning & Development teams and countries to start a train the trainer community for sustainability
• Own and champion sustainability campaigns Generating concrete sustainability centric business initiatives - creating business out of sustainability
• Working very closely with BLs, customers (key accounts).
• Lead and develop company low-carbon operations, including environmental compliance, sustainability reporting and communication plans
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage the most complex or strategically important sustainability business opportunities, for example sales, projects, consulting engagements, partnerships, alliances, mergers, or acquisitions that will contribute to the organization’s short and long-term business goals
• Establish high-level, significant relationships with potential clients, customers, partners, key decision-makers, and industry leaders (for example in government or industry associations) 
• to promote the organization’s products and services.
• Govern action planning and execution in functions/units and lead continuous improvement relevant to environmental requirements.
• Lead the most important, complex, controversial or difficult meetings and negotiations with potential clients and business partners to pursue business opportunities and protect the.

Requirements:

• Passionate about the environmental and sustainability issues.
• Experience in driving environmental and sustainability agenda in a commercial / business setting.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills and have the ability and commercial.
• understanding to support business (internal stakeholders) and customers achieve their sustainability goals.
• Translate the sustainability data/effort into tangible values and benefits that are easy to appreciate for business lines and customers.
