Job Description Summary

The Mutifonds Business Support Senior Manager will be responsible for managing Multifond & Control Support function for Global Fund Accounting Users. The person is responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a global support team, driving a variety of business support activities in coordination with the Technology, Operations and Vendor teams. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of activities associated with Multifonds Business Support.

Solid understanding of Multifonds System and Fund accounting domain knowledge is required.

The candidate must be open to work for staggered shifts in a 24x7work environment.


Responsibilities: 


  • Manage a team of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
  • Manage the function and independently handle the projects for complete MF and its Upgradation life cycle
  • Analyze root-cause of issues reported on various Fund Accounting applications and provide solution to operation team in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunities to implement process improvements and recommend system, service, and process enhancements including leading and evaluating system testing
  • Coordinate staff assignments to achieve optimal effectiveness through assessment of business requirements and staff skill sets and development needs
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients, and serve as point of escalation of complex customer issues
  • Manage the Risk and Control agenda including audits, interfacing with internal and external auditors, and identifying process gaps
  • Work closely with senior management on identifying opportunities for cost saves, full-time equivalent (FTE) reduction, and optimization
  • Team management and appraisals for the team members by handling 2-3 team managers, function SMEs and a cross functional team of 15-20 resources.
  • Manage internal client meetings and other calls independently
  • Ensure innovative solution for challenging deliveries
  • Develop and extend collaborative working relationships with senior clients, technology suppliers and operational support areas in order to quickly understand requirements, resolve problems/issues, suggest solutions and identify areas for service improvement.
  • For the specific project, support the Project Manager(s) and Functional Test Manager by contributing to the Project Plan and Test Plan(s).
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of the assigned tasks.
  • Ensure the deliverables are managed within the timescales
  • Highlight Risk and issues at management level
  • Extensive liaison and direct contact with a diverse range of business and technology functions, both within the bank and with key vendors

Requirements:


  • Expertise of Mutifonds application , understanding of accounting principles and financial instruments
  • Good SQL and database understanding
  • Experience in managing operational delivery
  • Extensive knowledge of funds services and process
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related area
  • Exposure to global client and understanding of global work culture
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation and service commitment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks and meets strict deadlines.
  • Must be prepared to work in a shift in line with regions supported including India night shifts
  • Innovative approach to work and continuously identify and implement process improvements

  • Ability to influence change at difference levels of the organization
