  • Deliver technical product presentations & demonstrations.
  • Support the sales teams in identifying account expansion opportunities.
  • Assist in identifying renewal risk and collaborate with internal teams to remediate and ensure a successful renewal.
  • Assist with customer success through proactive periodic health checks, product training, and developing and sharing best practices.
  • Engage with customers at all levels of their organization, from email and web administrators, to the SOC team, to the C-suite.
  • Configure product installations and customizations for Trials and Proof of Concepts.
  • Serve as customer advocate with internal Mimecast stakeholders to ensure needed customer feedback is adequately documented and reviewed by internal parties.
  • Research customers’ technical issues in a timely manner and follow up with recommendations and action plans.
  • Maintain control of the overall resolution for any escalated case, leading cross-functional groups as needed, and escalate to management when appropriate.
  • Leverage internal technical expertise, including development engineers, knowledge base, and other internal tools to provide the most effective solutions to customer issues.
  • Provide informal training to the Sales team on Mimecast technology and support for technical sales and competitive messaging.


Required Skills:

  • Technical understanding in relevant areas such as email and web security (including anti-virus and threat intelligence), networking, and archiving/backup.
  • Demonstrable experience working with medium to large organizations.
  • Experience selling large scale security SaaS and cloud platforms and solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on multiple engagements.
  • Self-motivated and excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze complex scenarios and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • A curious nature with a desire to learn and a competitive spirit.
  • Expected to travel to meet the business's needs.
