The Role:


  • Our Product team is seeking a Technical Product Owner with a passion for innovation and a dedication to delivering high-quality, differentiated data solutions within our clients integrated risk platform.

Responsibilities:


  • You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager to lead the strategic development of the data platform roadmap, ensuring it is fully aligned with the company's overarching objectives.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with stakeholders across multidisciplinary engineering teams and departments, gathering critical requirements and designing innovative solutions.
  • Utilize your deep expertise in data engineering to align technical capabilities seamlessly with business objectives.
  • Take full ownership of the backlog for the data platform, prioritizing and managing it to ensure that all deliverables are strategically aligned and executed effectively.
  • Develop detailed user stories and facilitate backlog refinement sessions to guarantee clear communication and alignment within the team.
  • Maintain a strong grasp of emerging technology trends and developments, offering informed recommendations to elevate the platform's technical capabilities.
  • Champion an agile mindset that extends beyond traditional frameworks, fostering an environment where engineering and product teams are empowered and operate autonomously.
  • Leverage your experience within technical organizations to make strategic decisions regarding build-versus-buy scenarios.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of comprehensive product and technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for both internal and external stakeholders.


Requirements:


  • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related area 
  • Deep interest in Product Management, ideally with at least 2+ year experience working as a Technical Product Manager and/or Product Owner. 
  • Data engineering background with at least 3+ years working as a Software Engineer and/or Data Engineer
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand stakeholder requirements clearly and translate this to the technical teams. 
  • Ideally, experience working with Azure Services and big data frameworks/tools.
  • Solid understanding of how to build a modern and scalable big data systems.
  • Has user-centric design mindset.
  • Is comfortable working in an agile environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adaptable to an ever-changing development environment.
  • Strong work ethic & high degree of integrity.
