Responsibilities:


  • As a Sr. Risk Restructuring Officer, for Portfolio Management’s Litigation and Recovery Group, you will be expected to perform credit and case management activities to include customer calls to critically evaluate go forward business plans, restructuring of distressed accounts, monitoring Bankruptcy cases, and work closely with outside council to manage litigation. Other duties include preparing reports for Senior and Corporate Management Day to day:
  • Responsible for the aggressive management of a portfolio of classified and non-classified relationships which includes Restructurings, Repossessions, Legal Remedies, Bankruptcy Proceedings, all with the purpose of mitigating Risks and preservation of collateral as well as the determination of all write offs which directly impacts the financial statements. 
  • Responsible for management of the aftercare portfolio to maximize recoveries for which includes determining and executing on strategies for collection of deficiency balances
  • Perform credit evaluation and risk analysis for complex transactions across several industries, including CT&I, Tech Solutions, and Office Equipment, Clean Technology and Healthcare.
  • Complete analysis on financial, asset, market, legal and contractual risk as a basis for decisions and recommendations.
  • Perform reviews, customer re-ratings and regulatory notifications, Basel II Compliance.
  • Ensure payment arrangements are adhered to on restructured credits and apply funds to account upon receipt.
  • Familiarity with litigation and legal process for monetary awards and repossession of assets.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned
  • Work closely with other departments, including Legal, Credit, and Asset Management to properly structure and document transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with global and local credit and risk management policies.
  • Actively participate in meetings with customers, vendors and internal members. 
  • Effectively and professionally present Workout strategies to local and global credit committees.
  • Contribute to procedure development.
  • Provide information, support, training and align all parties on credit and risk management policies, processes and issues in order to cultivate a sound (credit) risk organization and (credit) risk awareness culture.
  • Decision credit applications as assigned.
  • Escalate risks to L&R Management.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. (MBA preferred)
  • 5-7 years relative work experience
  • Expertise with financial analysis, internal/external regulations and credit risk management
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and written, with internal and external customers
  • Ability to thrive in a networked organization
  • Broad industry knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks
  • Knowledge Excel, Word, and Financial Statement spreading programs a plus.
