Description

Role Description:


  • Report to Business Director to manage the software product roadmap and support new strategic product initiatives for industrial network solutions for continuous business growth.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for shaping the industrial networking software and HMI product strategy, defining products and business requirements, and having active engagement with other product managers for product business case building.
  • Local product support responsibility for all Industrial Networking System products in SEA&ANZ: Industrial Ethernet Switches, Routers, Security Firewalls, Wireless and industrial connectors.
  • Conducts market and competitor analysis, systematically collecting and analysing market and competition data
  • Define product requirements documents based on deep knowledge of specific market segments, target customers, and product category. 
  • Lead and execute the product strategies that appeal to customer needs and requirements.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution including business case creation, product definition, collateral development, pricing, delivery readiness, sales and service delivery training and the overall performance of the offering. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with the regional strategical partners, vertical and government authorities.
  • Provides sales support and marketing support for customer projects and for fairs/exhibitions
  • Cooperate with Application Engineering team to provide sales force with appropriate technical pre- and after sales support
  • Support to sales force on New Business development within strategic industries and vertical markets
  • Define and implement Go-to-market activities for new product launches
  • Support local manufacturing footprint activities like SIOP forecasting and new product announcement etc.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree or above in InfoComm, Networking or Computer Science or related.
  • Min. 5 year related experience, previous experience in industrial software, Industrial Ethernet product areas is preferred.
  • Min. 5-year experience as Business Development/Sales/Pre-sales/Product Management in industrial automation or critical infrastructure.
  • Highly communicative and high business acumen
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • The ability to persuade, convince and negotiate with sales and project management associates is helpful
  • Willingness to travel
  • Open minded, pro-active, good team player
  • Ability to quickly understand the technical context of the product and solution offerings that you are driving and to actively contribute to technical engineering discussions that might impact the success of your product
  • Ability to work effectively in an APAC and global team
  • Ability to work in open, collaborative, networking environment with various functions and businesses.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams
  • Self-motivated, structured and results oriented with good time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise messages
  • Strong sense of ownership. Proactive engagement to remove obstacles, and willingness to go above and beyond for the success of your programs.
  • Ability to collaborate and interact across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels.
