The Downstream Marketing Manager is responsible for providing analytic, research and strategic support & develop strategic marketing and communications platforms and strategies. 

The Downstream Product Marketing Manager will work with sales to support our customers day to day needs. They will capture market insights and translate them to actional, differentiated programs which benefit customers and drive revenue.


  • Create and refine marketing materials for customers and sales team that incorporate a variety of media formats including web-based programs training tools, white papers, case studies, testimonials, etc.
  •  Keep promotional materials current by coordinating requirements with internal and external marketing teams
  •  Support sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information
  •  Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising
  • Leads downstream team in creating annual marketing communications
  •  Track competitive activities, proactively develop key marketing campaigns, and work closely with regional marketing partners to understand changing market dynamics
  •  Build strategies for beating competitors profitably with effective use of competitive intelligence, based on customer and event interactions
  • Partner with Clinical team to develop compelling value statements
  • Identify and maintain strong relations with key opinion leaders, customers, professional associations, and advisory boards


Education Or Experience:

  •  Bachelor's Degree in marketing and/or equivalent years of experience and education
  •  3-5 years medical device experience as a Marketing Manager, preferred
  •  Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business journals, financial reports, and contracts. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to customers, top management, public groups.

Mathematical Skill:

Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and offer appropriate solutions.

Physical Demand: 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. 
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

  • The work environment will be the Company's corporate headquarters in Huntersville, NC.


  • This position requires variable travel up to 25% - 30%. Overnight travel will be required.
