Manufacturing - Operations and practice

Responsibilities:

Operations Strategy:

• Operating model design and implementation
• Strategy for Global Business services for Operations (non-finance functions)
• Manufacturing strategy formulation and implementation

Operations:

• Operations excellence (includes Asset optimization, Quality management, Lean process design/ process re-engineering)
• Managed services in Operations (running plant operations, procurement, supply chain function, etc.)
• Manpower optimization for both white & blue collar

Transformation:

• Business turnaround for loss making businesses End to end Transformation program – EBITDA improvement, conversion cost reduction, procurement cost reduction, manpower cost reduction, product portfolio
• rationalization, change management Digital operations transformation – use of emerging technologies in manufacturing suchas IoT/ sensors, Analytics, AI/ ML for operational improvement

New facility set up & Diligence:

• Conceptualizing and setting-up green field and brown field manufacturing facilities and Operations system design
• Operational/Technical Due Diligence and post deal value creation

Requirements:

• Overall experience of 10 to 18 years
• Mix of industry and consulting or only consulting experience would be ideal
• Candidates with experience only in the industry would need to demonstrate experience in
• running improvement projects/ special or consulting projects and cross-disciplinary
• exposure for a significant portion of their stint. Such candidates will
• typically be part of leadership development programs or from the internal
• strategy/ operational improvement teams
• Candidate should have excellent program/ project management, communications, analytical,
• relationship development (particularly with senior industry leaders), change management and team management skills.
