Data Engineer (Informatica)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain application-related components e.g. BDM, MFT Java, Unix scripts
• Participate in business requirements gathering and work closely with BA, Tech, EA on delivery of minor enhancements
• Create, maintain and review design documentations
• Implement and manage change requests pertaining to application-related components e.g. S3, BDM, MFT
• Work with other relevant teams as required e.g SCP, IOC, Production Control, Infrastructure, Security, Audit
• Work with platform and application teams to manage and close incidents or issues, and implement changes
• Document and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Manage and maintain batch job execution and troubleshooting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering
• At least 5 progressive years of Informatica technical experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse design and development using Informatica
• Proficiency in Informatica BDM is mandatory
• Experience in ETL, Data Ingestion, Investment Data transformation
• Experience in DWH design and knowledge of its best practices
• Proficiency in Postgres, Unix
• Knowledge in data integration e.g MuleSoft, AWS S3, SFTP, Webservices
• Knowledge in Workday, Simcorp, Markit EDM
• Able to understand the business, technical requirements and convert them into design-and-build
• Able to do performance tuning of Informatica BDM jobs
• Able to present solutions to architects and get approval
• Able to troubleshoot complex data issues and resolve them within Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Ability to partner with product vendors and implementation teams

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge in Informatica MFT / Axway
• Knowledge in integration tools
• Knowledge in project management
• Experience gained from banking and finance industry
