Job description
Job Summary:
- Associate Design Engineer will be required to deliver comprehensive support services as per the knowledge of industrial automation network design principles to all clients and potential clients in the designated region.
- Also, they will be required to support the sales team in mobilizing internal resources and running and managing projects under short timelines to deliver competent and effective technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Visiting the customer and project office to bring the design and interface input from the design and solution document.
- Maintain the contract requirement concerning technical and deliverables.
- Creating customer files and providing technical support for complete project solutions based on information and project requirements.
- Coordinating with the Project management team and support team directly for product/feature /design envelopment.
- Doing regular technical presentations and product training for customers and O&M staff.
- Providing front-line technical support on quality issues and site design improvement.
- Maintain the project progress and meet the project deadline concerning the deliverable.
- Meeting with the interface partner (RST, E&M, OHE, viaduct, and tunnel) and providing the requirements concerning DCS implementation for the entire project. Maintain the interface log and Interface control document.
Requirements:
- Education – 8-10 years of experience with technical support experience & B.Tech in Electronics Engineering or diploma
- Markets – Must be familiar with Industrial Networking products including L2/L3 switches, routers, cybersecurity, next-generation firewalls, and Wireless devices. Familiarity with Metro Vital and Non-Vital communication network requirements – Network design experience with Backbone Networks, Train-to-track Wireless, Onboard (Train) networks, Fiber optics communication Systems, and interface requirements for Rail Systems.
